Wake up Call Show

There are more gangs in this country that are not with people of color and you very seldom see them dragged in by the hands RICO. When its people of color organizing in any manner its a called a gang when its the Brothers of the confederates or the Arian nation wearing their military attire its an organization. Children of color are being targeted as gangs whether or not they are trully in them and the RICO law is being applied at the school house. We need to educate ourselves and neighbors and our childre on this trend and ask yourself is this the solution to the problem. We need to mobilize ourselves to stand up against such injustice. Stand up for one and stand up for all. Free Andre Scott!

Historically Africans are a spiritual people, yet in the community there is a current separation of spirituality (Church, Mosque, and African Traditional Religions) and our political, cultural and economic aspects of our movements. This insanity imitates the Euro-Centric world view and has caused much damage to us as a people. How can we solve this issue? Hosted by Majadi Baruti& Moorbey

    Dear fellow activists,

I just received an update from Ali Khalid Abdullah.

    Many of you know

Ali through his essays that we've published on Prisonersolidarity:

After serving almost twenty years in prison for taking action against
a drug dealer who had molested an 11-year old, Ali has recently been
released. While in prison, he has always been an activist and a
strong supporter of the Lucasville Five. Ali was married in prison
but things haven't worked out, and he now finds himself more-or-less
homeless (sometimes sleeping on the street, sometimes staying with an
acquaintance) . Ali has diabetes, four blood clots in his legs, and
two slipped herniated discs in his back. He won't begin receiving his
Social Security check until January 20, and is wondering whether any
of us might be able to help him raise the $80 he needs to buy his
medications. He's in a lot of pain and his health is in jeopardy
without them. He sends directions (see below) for anyone who wishes
to wire some money to a Western Union in Indianapolis. You may also
be able to mail him a few dollars instead. Write to Ali at
alikabdul@yahoo. com to request his mailing address. He could
probably use a bit more than $80 to pull him through the next month. I
plan to send him $20. Also, please contact him if you happen to live
in or near Indianapolis and might have a room available.

Here are the directions Ali writes, for sending him money to cover his
    meds:

"i have gone to many agencies and contacted the Salvation Army begging
for help and showing them my medical records and the prescription
bottles and they weren't able to help me at all. i have not found
ANYONE with the extra cash to help me out. i am so frustrated i don 't
know what to do. If anyone is willing or can lend me a hand TODAY with
an emergency $78 dollars so i can obtain my meds i would be soooo
thankful. THAT WOULD BE MY CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! iF HELP CAN BE GIVEN
please...please let me know and if possible it can be sent to me via
Western Union as follows: Ali Khalid Abdullah, Indianapolis. Ad a Test
Question that says: "FIrst name at birth?" The answer is "Irving". And
then send me the CONTROL NUMBER of the transaction i could pick up the
money and immediately go get my perscriptions filled TODAY! However, i
could not repay it back until i found some money. i am hoping my SSI
will have kicked in by January 20th, according to them."

    in solidarity,
    Angela

    Moorbey!!!

An Update on Our Beloved Comrade In Arms, and Brother!

Bro. Moorbey, the creator of Black Unity (http://blackunity.ning.com) which he developed and maintains as "a home away from home," After a period of hospitalization in the ICU, he is due to be discharged to outpatient treatment next week. Bro. Moorbey (aka bigdaddiej) is well-known on-line for his ability to bring together Afrikans from a variety of backgrounds to dialogue around issues most pressing to our people, with humanity, humility, commitment, and tireless dedication.

Our Bro. is RBG to the bone and has had no problem getting down on behalf of every call to assist that has come his way, from issues directly affecting our mother continent to the liberation of our political prisoners, and everything in between. This powerful heart has impacted many lives in a real positive way and we've known him to most definitely be concerned and helpful whenever any call for support is issued.

While recuperating from these life-threatening events, Bro. Moorbey has fallen upon hard financial times. Please give what you can to help relieve as much of that burden as possible, no amount is too small, whatever you can spare would be most gratefully appreciated!

Please send an m.o. made out to:

    James L. Harris,

    and mail it to:

5822 North West 25th Terrace, Gainesville  FL 32653
    ,

    today!

Asante sana on behalf of our Bro., and thank you for taking the time to read these words!!

    Forward ever
    Sankofa Uhuru
