As our company has launched new branches across the western United States and I have met with Realtors throughout California, I've come across an unlikely, unforeseen phenomena during this process.
I've discovered by chance that there are two types of real estate professionals.
The first is the dedicated professional who works his or her butt off to help buyers and sellers with properties. He knows the industry very well. This professional follows the career track to get the most listings, manage the most open houses, and work diligently to become a top producer.
The second has many of the same goals as the career-minded real estate agent, but what's the different, this woman looks at the profession as a business. She looks at the business as a means to an end as opposed to working like a 9-5 job.
Yes, even though there are business tax breaks as a Realtor, the work can be seen as if it were a job.
We will discuss what the business building side of real estate can do for a Realtor who wants more out of the real estate industry.
