Jenny started working in the insurance business when she was 19 year as a student at the University of California-Davis, studying biology.
Being Chinese, her parents told Jenny as a young child that she had to be a doctor.
Jenny's parents sacrificed everything to immigrate to America so that her two younger brothers and she could get a good education and live the American dream.
As the oldest of three children, Jenny was pushed hard to be the doctor in the family. Even though Jenny studied very hard and went to good schools and got good grades, deep down inside she knew she was not doctor material.
Jenny found out that she was scared of blood and needles but at the same time she didn't want to let my parents down. She needed a way out. One of her good friends invited her to an orientation in June 1997. That day changed Jenny’s life.
Jenny worked very hard to make money so she could show my parents that not only doctors make a lot of money.
Jenny was so driven that during her first year in the business, she made a six-figure income. And the rest was history!
Years later, Jenny added real estate sales and mortgage loan origination to her list of consumer services since real estate and mortgages are great complements to life insurance.
Jenny’s parents are very proud of her today as she supports them financially and they tell all their friends about her success. Just seeing the smile on their faces when they talk about Jenny's beautiful house and their wonderful grandchildren and how we were able to open over 20 offices in California made all the work worthwhile. The crazy thing is, and I'm quoting Jenny here, "I know that this is just the beginning for me!"
