Navi Johnson is a 15 year old junior from Richmond, Virginia. Debuting her first novel, Life is What I Make It, she is a very spirited writer who speaks in the language of teens with compelling stories that convey their thoughts and dreams. Her first novel takes on the story of a girl who is determined to change her life. Navi takes us on a roller coaster ride with unpredictable twists and turns. Certainly a page turner, Life is What I Make It keeps the reader consistently curious about what happens next.

Navi is diligently working to form her own company to publish and market her own books. But this isn’t her first entrepreneur endeavor. When she was 10, she started selling hand-made pillows that she constructed using outgrown sweaters. She sold her pillows for about 2 years until her passion for writing kicked in and began to take up most of her free time.
In addition to writing, Navi is a jazz pianist, studying under jazz composer Ashby Anderson at Muse Creative Workspace. She enjoys writing poetry and jewelry shopping. Navi still resides in the Richmond area with her parents, two brothers, and dog, Waffles.
