Dr. Donald Wright
, author of
"The Only Prayer I’ll Ever Pray: Let My People Go"
joins me tonight. The book issues a call for Blacks in America to critically examine their loyalty and dedication to religion and adapt a lifestyle centered on rational thinking. Mr. Wright believes it is time to break the chains of
mental bondage
caused by
religious dogma
.
To encourage
fellowship
and
community service
among Black non-believers, Mr. Wright and others have decided to designate a
day of solidarity
for Black non-believers. We will discuss this and more on Black Talk Radio News tonight.
As always, I will be taking your calls and reporting your news of the day.
