The African History Notebook with host Dr. Clyde Ahmad Winters. The African History Notebook tells the story of African history from the point of view of the researcher - in the case Dr. Clyde Ahmad Winters. Each week Dr. Winters highlights the African origins and diffusion of civilization throughout the ancient world – including Kemet, Nubia, Sumer, Harappa (India), Shang (China), Olmec (Mesoamerica / Ancient America), Ancient Europe (including Greece, and Rome) – from the perspective of his research. Each week’s presentation is supported by a video presentation of documentation. Dr. Winters is author of numerous articles and books on education, ancient history anthropology and archaeogenetics. Dr. Winters’ books include Teaching Ancient Afrocentric History, Atlantis in Mexico (History of the African Olmecs), and Afrocentrism: Myth or Reality. Dr. Winters most recent book is Brain Based Learning and Special Education.
