Duplication of Efforts: Movies, DVDs, Cell Phones, Internet Access, iPods, Landlines & Other Gadgets

Today, I thought about purchasing an iPhone, along with the exorbitant cell phone plan. I recently purchased an iPod-Touch and realized that I am being screwed coming and going with all these sophisticated gadget. How many movies do you need to watch? How many times and on how many formats do you need to watch the same content? How many phones lines do you need? How many points of internet services do you need? How many mp3's, phone tunes, and game downloads do we need? Forget about being nickel and dime to death, what about 0.99, 1.99 & 2.99 to death or even worse $199, $299 & $399 to death. Also, have you looked at your water, phone, utility, gas bill lately. Please save your bills and look at them over the last year, two years or five years . . . Ouch! Last but not least, if the MOTOWN blues got you down, call on President Obama's stimulus package.
