African-American Reparations

African-Americans should know the most important set of factors in reparations are the 3 models, which are Improving Integration, Establishing Repatriation and Creating Sovereignty. The second set of factors are having a Plebiscite and forming a Reparations Union Power Base (RULA). As we move towards winning reparations we must be sure we have a process in place that will help us explore and maximize efforts to develop and implement both set of factors. This is the only way to prevent sell out blacks and/or racist whites from diminishing what we deserve and should get from reparations. The purpose of reparations is to repair damage done to a people. No one can deny the last 500 years of oppression including the Middle Passage, Slavery, Reconstruction, The KKK, Lynching, Segregation and Integration have all caused severe damage. Lingering affects from those social forces are evident in society and they have formed barriers and obstacles that prevent blacks from reaching equality. That is why reparations are in order. The RULA suggest reparations should materialize by having a process that will enable us to identify various fields that have become corrupted by massive problems and extensive damage, which came as a result of that oppression. We should form commissions with people who have experience and expertise in those fields, so that we don’t have folks trying to solve problems in fields of which they have little knowledge. Folks who populate these commissions will have race saving responsibilities because they will be expected to develop solutions. This is a much more intelligent approach than listening to folks from N’COBRA express their opinions about how reparations should come in the form of concessions for education and health care. The RULA recognizes land, resources, housing and employment are much more important than education and health care.
