Sharon Draper's book "Tears of a Tiger" was great! I started reading all of her books because, like Isibis, I enjoy reading books that relate to a young adult audience. Anyway, I'm finished listening to all the shows, and yes, I know I'm far too late. I wish I'd have been able to call in, but life got in the way. No excuses. Just once again, I want to say thank you for the opportunity and enjoy your vacation. Swaggie and K.L., always keep in touch! Y'all are my favorite. *heart*

...several Asian men picked my book up. For some reason, I didn't think Asian men would be as interested as they are. I can't speak for Karen, but I believe it was interesting to her as well.
At 89:18, I'm listening to you all speak about multicultural relationships, and one of my favorite authors is Karen Siplin. In both of her books "Insignificant Other" and "Such a Girl," there is a main black female character who is digging a white guy. I love her work! Great Debaters Link: (www.associatedcontent.com/article/510767/review_of_the_great_debaters.html) "Why Did I Get Married?": It was a cool movie, but it was better with a crowd to laugh with during the "BOOM!" scene.

out the truth of the deal. I've heard several critics say that because Denzel is such a prestigious actor, along with Forest Whitaker and Jurnee Smollett, they're surprised that the movie talked about the myth of the Willie Lynch letter. I'm at 54:42, but I hope Rosalyn speaks about the legitimacy of the letter.

I wrote an article reviewing "The Great Debaters," but at the time that I wrote it, I didn't realize that the real Great Debaters beat Southern California, which was the BEST debating school at the time. However, since Blacks were not allowed to officially compete since Pi Kappa Delta wouldn't allow them in the honor society, Wiley College was never able to claim the title. I don't understand why they didn't use them anyway because now people will be trying to contact Harvard to figure
