This was an interesting show, especially the tips for book signings. I remember being spoiled at a few where I literally did just have to sit there because people kept coming over to me. However, I thought that would work at a book signing in a different state and was smacked by reality quickly. I'll say one thing. Book signings can humble a writer quickly! Great show. I'll be checking out Circle of Seven Productions.

The idea of emailing book clubs is an excellent one. I did the same thing on Mosaic Books a couple years ago as well as last year when "Round Trip" came out, and I watched my sales rise. Mosaic does have some book clubs that have out-of-date email addresses and a few postcards came back from address ONLY book clubs, but it was worth it in the end. You never know whether the people handling the mail back and forth are readers too!

For the life of me, I can't figure out why Debra was hesitant to host a show. I like her speaking voice and the Carl Weber/Thong story was cute. Her bookmarks are eye-catching. Speaking of promos, my podcast was deleted this morning. What happened? http://edc1creations.audioacrobat.com/download/ShamontielLVaughn.mp3
