Tonight's discussion: African-American musicians, singers, and composers have not only contributed immensely to our nation's culture but to the world , those contributions should be acknowledged and celebrated. American music is a reflection of the diversity of character that American people possess, it is difficult to imagine American music without the rich and continuing innovations of African Americans. Scholars have suggested that Black" music is the only truly American music, if not for the influence of Black entertainers there would have never been an Elvis, Madonna, Kenny G or a Britney Spears. So join us as we celebrate Black Music Month.
Tonight's guest will take from the 80's into the now. We will talk to two-time Grammy Award-winning British R&B / soul singer Caron Wheeler of Soul to Soul fame, on how American Soul Music affected those a broad. Also joining us is super producer Stevie J formerly a part of Bad Boys Ent Hitman roster of in-house producers, now founder and member of the production team "Danger Zone Productions”.
