Vanessa Whitehead of Global Organization and Planning Services

Join me with my special guest, Vanessa Whitehead of Global Organization and Planning Services. Vanessa Whitehead was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. It is in New Jersey where she received about fifteen years of technical experience as a hardware and software developer at Bell Labs and the former AT&T. With almost ten years of experience as a computer programmer at AT&T, Vanessa honed her organizational and planning skills while working as a programmer. She discovered common ground between her innate knack for event planning and her computer programming skills. With this discovery, she started Global Organization and Planning Services, an event planning and management company in 2002. From the start, Vanessa set out to make this company a global one, incorporating her experience with, and her relationships developed from, traveling extensively overseas – within five years of starting her business, she has traveled to six of the seven continents. Vanessa and her staff continue to expand the company by seizing opportunities to provide out-of-the-box services and solutions as they adjust to the changes in the times. In an effort to enhance the company’s core business – event planning and management, they have developed and incorporated the use of event and travel tracking software automation and have started conducting corporate level training in meeting and event planning management. Vanessa is excited about what the future has to offer for Global Organization and Planning Services, as she continues to put her trust in God.
