    Shining Shoes, Polished Career Ambition

    I was pampered yesterday.  And I'm not talking about a spa, get a facial and manicure kind of pampering. 

    I'm talking about the kind of pampering that coincides with a 5-minute timeout, relaxation, having a great conversation and boosting your confidence kind of pampering.

    If you've ever been to one of the many Shoe Shine kiosks in downtown Toronto, or been at a Golf Classic kind of event anywhere in southwestern Ontario, you'll know what I'm talking about.  There you will find Penny and her team.
     
    With a warm greeting, a bright-eyed smiled, they clean, wax, buff your shoes and offer you tips to keeping those leathers stay rich and supple. 

    Spending the afternoon with Penny and her team was tops!  I devoured tricks of the trade, passionate stories of career ambition and drive, and met scores of regulars and visitors alike.
     
    I got to watch the transition of those who walked in with a worn disposition and leave with a bounce in their step.  Shoulders back, head tall and twinkle in the eye.

    On Thursday, June 26th, 8-9 pm you too can hear all about how Penny Simmons, Founder of Penny Loafers Shoe Shine Company, Inc. shifted from career confusion to career clarity.  And how a passionate career ambition changes your life and those around you.

    Penny is humble, charming and ambitious.  Her story will inspire every-one who is looking for their dream.
