    The Coffee Office Entrepreneur

I was de-light-ed to have the special opportunity to interview Ziggy Redecop, owner and successful entrepreneur of The Coffee Office(www.TheCoffeeOffice.com).

Here are the top 10 things every entrepreneur needs to be successful.

    1.  Teamwork - "No man is an island"; success doesn't happen in isolation.  Collaboration is king!

    2.  Ambition - Owning and growing a business is NOT a 9-5 job.

    3.  Passion - You need to find your own burning flame and desire; building a business takes passion (and commitment).

    4.  Multiple Hats - There must be a willingness to wear all kinds of hats when starting a business; "do what ever job" (with a smile). Can't isn't in the entrepreneur's vocabulary.

    5.  Be Willing to Learn - Evolve, shift, twist and turn; "Best education I've ever had".

    6.  Start with a "Concept" - You don't need a BIG vision to start a business; you need a concept (an idea) you can let grow and evolve.

    7.  Build a Relationship Business - Every entrepreneur and small business person is in the "relationship" business (not the sales business).

    8.  Shhh, Listen - Listen to your clients, the market, the demand.  There's a wise saying, "There's a reason why we have 2 ears and 1 mouth".  HEAR what people are saying.

    9.  Integrity - Who you are is attractive.  Build your business on the real you; stay genuine and in integrity.

    10. Set Boundaries -  Be clear on your personal boundaries and create rules around them.  Balance is a key to joy and growing your business and self.  Don't compromise.

This was an hour full of incredible wisdom and practical guidance.  I encourage you to listen in - or if you really want to know what all the buzz is about, try visiting the nearest Coffee Office location near you:  Windsor, London, Burlington, Toronto.

I promise!  You'll be glad you did.
