    Passion! If only ...

When I ask you the question, "What's your passion?" - what comes to mind?

For many people it's a blank.  They don't know.  They're stuck. That's why they're asking for help.  They know if they could find their passion, they could tap into their career field of dreams.

The problem is when you ask someone (or yourself), what their passion is,  it's t-o-o big of an open-ended question.

Instead try asking questions like this.  Break it down:

What do you love to do?

    What energizes you?

What kinds of jobs interest you most?

How do you prefer to spend your spare time? where? doing what?

What kinds of things do you enjoy reading? watching? knowing about?

What kinds of jobs on tv - in the newspaper - on the job boards - grab your attention?

If you still feel stuck, it could be because you need to get out there and try more things.  Explore a little.

What would you like to try?

What kinds of things have you thought of trying but never got around to?

What have you wished you could try, but haven't yet?

Not only will you start to get clues to your inner passion, you'll also start deepening your critical thinking skills.

Listen to what you're intuition is telling you - sit up and pay attention - and then get more information - or try on an experience - to learn more.
