Are We There Yet?

Greetings to everyone across the nation!

I greet you in divine love and with much Jesus joy!
Several months ago noted rapper, actor, producer, "Ice Cube" starred in a movie centered around the experience of
getting from one point or destination to another. The film was entitled "Are We There Yet"

It's been a long time from "slavery" until "now", like the movie the question looms "Are we there Yet?"
We are in the throes of one of the most historic episodes in american history, with the political upheaval
we're facing, as we race toward the ballot box in the upcoming presidential election.

For a time there has been pros & cons regarding this nation's place on the polarizing issue of race and equality
not in Iran, Iran, Indonesia, China, North or South Vietnam, but right here behind the celebrated walls of it's
own borders. We have often be led to beleive in the doctrine of fairness and ethnic morality - only to see it unravel before
our very eyes. There appears to be an invisible leash on the dog that continues to constrain him and impact his ability to
move from beyond the boundry of the tree he has been tethered to.

This upcoming election will simply, truly and truthfully be the defining moment in "American History". "Are we there yet?"
America what is the problem now, we have an educated, qualified, prepared, sensitive, multicultural, competent, in tune and in touch person
who can represent this country and faithfully discharge the oath of the 2nd highest office in the land (none supercedes the office of the
prophet voice of the chosen of God!). "Are we there yet?" - america what tricks do we get ready for now, what law will be changed to accomodate the moment now? what character flaw will you amplify now? what breach of ethics, morals and the like will be forth coming now (mistress, drugs, collusion, the D. L., taxes, false or misleading political imagery, sell out - what america what?).

For once can we conquer the great divide or schism that has done more harm than good in this nation and among it's great people, and recognize that all men are indeed created equal. For once can we say as other indicators seem to suggest that the time has come. Dues have been paid, deference has given, we've said our share of yes sirs and yes maams - it's settling up time.

We who have been the judge of the world - will now be judged and how we will be judged
will be the testimony that will shape our legacy for ages to come.

Or can we finally.... and.... I mean finally call it straight and while looking in the mirror with the voice of anticipated rest from the long
and weary journey and say yes we have arrived!
