Podcast #216 features one of “The WORDOLOGIST”S” co-hosts Noel Benoist; this podcast is part one of two parts as we examine in part – superficially (believe it or not)  – just the first paragraph of the document commonly referred to as “The Declaration of Independence”, the immediate predecessor to the U.S. Constitution – “the supreme law of the land”. Through the use of songs, questions, and our commentary, we present a modern day perspective, using one paragraph of an old document, as to why we should consider the original reasons for celebrating Independence Day – July 4. The program indirectly answers my “infamous question”: “Why were the disciples first called Christians at Antioch”, and many other questions that people have, but generally are afraid to ask. I apologize for the audio level mismatch of this program. I believe in the adage, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”; that is not the same as preventive maintenance – which is essence is what this program is all about. However, corporate, for profit, secular businesses want you to believe that modernization, updating, etc. are exactly the same as preventive maintenance; it’s not.
