With the public school tragedy still fresh in people’s minds, the federal government has once again used a situation to malign people’s thoughts to gun control Thomas Jefferson stated: “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” Another of America’s former Presidents, Ronald Reagan, once stated: “We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.” America’s first President warned posterity: "Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." Therefore, which “holiday” is more important for nowadays, Christmas or Easter?
