Dear Frank,

Amid all the sad and tragic news coming out of Haiti, one can't help but be moved by the life-saving role that America's service men and women are taking on.

Year after year, we've watched in wonder as members of the U.S. military have been asked to answer the call in dozens of places around the world. Of course, when we think about "harm's way" we automatically consider the risks our troops take in combat zones like Afghanistan and Iraq. But, harm's way is also in areas devastated by natural disasters.

When the world responded to the tsunami in South Asia, the U.S. military was there, coordinating relief efforts and offering medical support.

When hurricanes swept across the U.S. Gulf Coast, the U.S. military was there, rescuing their fellow citizens and providing stability until civil order could be restored.


Time after time, they responded and performed brilliantly, saving countless lives and focusing on the humanitarian missions they were assigned.

Now, we have another devastating disaster in Haiti. Relief efforts are pouring in from around the world, but not before the Air Force restored air traffic control at the damaged civilian airport. At the same time, the Navy is bringing supplies and Marines and soldiers are helping to restore order.

Military medical personnel will assist doctors and nurses tending to the injured and the dying. They will be in a different kind of “harm's way,” and they do so without question or reservation.

It makes you proud to see these dedicated, heroic troops going where they're needed. They represent the very best about the United States. They are our finest ambassadors wherever they serve, and they deserve our support and respect.

Thanks so much for all you do to honor their service and ease their burdens.

This new Tsunami - Earth Quake that happened has now got everyone in DC shaking in their boots/shoes! Many now know what will happen to them if they want to proceed to their LOON A$$ direction! I just want to take this opportunity to thank you.

The past year was a challenge for so many of us. For America’s veterans, it was especially difficult.

But even in rough times, you never forget the men and women who fight for our freedom. Thank you so very much.

Unemployment. Foreclosures. Keeping food on the table and the lights on. The economic downturn was punishing to our service members, military families and veterans.

With your help, we were able to make a practical difference in the lives of these remarkable Americans—and let them know we respect their sacrifice. Last year alone:

• VFW and Ladies Auxiliary VFW members volunteered over 13.1 million hours
• VFW service officers helped veterans recover $1.2 billion in VA entitlements for our defenders
• More than 1.3 million calls home were provided to service members and hospitalized veterans

Big Daddy Is Down,

Along with my war injuries, I have some new problems. Life seems to give a few good things and in the same move more bad things. It seems like I have the flu for months, yet doctors  say it not..... I am trying to build my business and things look cloudy too. I do not have enough money to deal with all my medical issues, I need your prayers.......

My left shoulder still needs replacement, carpel tunnel & nerve damage in both hands,  severe neck & back pain, severe pain in both feet and knees, sinus & allergy, severely obese,  sleep apnea and PTSD.... Now I have some problems with my lungs, breathing, and ability to speak or do certain things. I am not giving up.....People with disabilities have to find their own way. It is just harder when you add the layers of ugliness to the package.

I am forced to stop my shows until my doctor clears me to do so, please do not forget in your prayers. I can not talk for a couple of minutes without having problems breathing and then deep penetrating coughing with stars. Keep the messages and emails..... People need people, God Is Good....
