It's been one Big Blue Beautiful week with a lot of Big Blue wins and some impressive Big Blue streaks.  So let the Big Blue Celebration begin:

  • Ironically, the least-talked about and least impressive streak currently belongs to the Men's Basketball team who have now won 5 in a row after the season opener loss to dUKe.  Why is the BBN so miserable?
  • Conversely, the Women's Basketball team had a holiday weekend for which they truly gave thanks after they won the Jamaican Jam on the backs of seniors Maci Morris & Taylor Murray with some incredible play by freshman Rhyne Howard.  The ladies are still perfect for the year and appear to be a force to be reckoned with as the season progresses.
  • Football - Can you say 9-3?  For the first time since 1977, the Cats have a 9-win season and set a lot of new records for Stoops Troops.  We'll show them a LOT of love tonight.
  • Men's Soccer continues their incredible season having won their opening 2 matches in the NCAA tournament and reaching the Elite 8 for the first time.  They're back at The Bell Friday night with hopes of keeping this magical run going.
  • Women's Volleyball is off the charts this year, posting a perfect 18-0 SEC record and gaining a national seed for the NCAA tourney (#10) and hosting the opening round at Memorial on Friday.

Michele covered 3 of the men's basketball wins in their current streak as well as some of the women's games & will offer her observations.  Guest Terry Brown from Cats Talk Wednesday (@TBrown_80) covered the UK/UL football game and the opening round of the NCAA Soccer tournament.  He'll fill us in on his experiences.

It's a great time to be a Big Blue fan so call us and tell us YOUR views!
