Lots of hoops on tap this week as Kristin and Michele get you up to date on your Kentucky Wildcats.

The Cats remain perfect in SEC play after having won both games this past week.  After a road win at Mississippi State, UK welcomed #24 South Carolina to Rupp on Saturday, only to send them home with their 1st SEC loss.  Cats now sit in sole possession of 1st place in the SEC, but what about De'Aaron Fox?

After a bumpy start to the new year, the ladies have been on an upward swing of late.  Evelyn Akhator has elevated her game to new levels and carried the Cats with her.  Though Akhator had an "off" game Sunday (*just* 7 pts, 6 rbs), the Cats managed to squeak past Auburn on the road, making the ladies 14-6 (5-2) for the season.  (tied with TAMU for 2nd place in the SEC)

Football is an extremely physical sport, and despite having safety gear, concussions remain an all too common occurrence.  A recent story in GQ, detailed the tragic journey of Zac Easter as he struggled with the after effects of the multiple concussions he suffered throughout his football career.  Reid Forgrave took Easter's journals and penned a beautiful, yet heartbreaking story that will hopefully have a positive influence on other young players today.  We'll talk to Reid about his story.
