BIG SKI "THE DOWBOY" PRESENTS: SLICK 23 ** AKA**Da Jinjabread Man** If It Ain't About Money "The Mix Tape" Featuring: B-Hav of Druma Squad! “Slick 23” was born in Duval County (Jacksonville), FL and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Slick 2-3 is no stranger to the hustle. Before he made his way to Indiana, he was also raised in Atlanta, GA. In the summer of 2000, Slick 23 teamed up with song writer/producer Short Kut to assemble Kut Throat Entertainment. But In 2006 Slick changed the company name to “Sharp Team Entertainment” to get away from the negative vibe Kut Throat carried. In 2004, Slick 23 worked with a number of producers in Los Angeles, CA. From there they launched a national campaign to raise awareness of Slick’s presents in the music industry. The hard work paid off! In 2005 Slick 23 became the first Hip-Hop/Rap artiest from Indianapolis, IN (NAPTOWN) to hit the National Billboard Charts, debuting on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Single Sales Chart at number 23, followed by a fast jump to 13 in only 4 weeks. Toping at 4 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Single Sales Chart, 87 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, and even crossing over to the Hot Singles Sales POP Chart. All after only 14 Weeks of climbing! Slick 2-3, C.E.O. of Sharp Team Entertainment is currently working on his album. Slick 23 is also working with other artist like Billy Da Kid, Nate Dogg, and many more. Sharp Team Entertainment is also working on several other projects such as Scouring films & Television shows. Meanwhile, Slick 2-3 continues to grind, winning Best Score for the independent film "Keeping Up With The Joneser," written and directed by Craig Borders at the Action On Film – Film Festival in Long Beach, CA. and currently producing the full “Bound By Blood” sound track. Slick 23 has also appeared in numerous videos with everyone from Janet Jackson to Lil John & The East Side Boyz, L'il Kim and Carl Thomas's “My First Love video”.
