"The Heroin Highway!"

This show will be about the Eisenhower Exspressway! However these days the young people from the near by west and northwest suburbs around Chicago, Il. Drive the Eisenhower Exspressway, and they now call it the Heroin Highway, because it takes them to the west side of Chicago, in an area that for many years has been called K-Town. And that is because most of the streets once you are west of Palaski Rd, the street names start with a the letter K. And this is the place these young kids come to buy their Drugs. Or should we say Horin? And this is their reason for calling the Eisenhower Exspressway; The Heroin Highway! Once you come off the expressway you only have to drive another mile or so, and then you are in K-Town. For myself I do know about K-Town, do to before I went into the Military I was a very young person who came up in the streets of K-Town. However that was a very long time ago.
