The National Parks Arts Foundation (NPAF) creates unique artist-in-residence programs within the National Park Service and other parks, and the programs are for all of the arts, from painting and photography to music and poetry. This Big Blend Radio discussion focuses on NPAF poet-in-residence opportunity, featuring photographer Tanya Ortega – Founder of National Parks Arts Foundation, and poet Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, author of “Posada: Offerings of Witness and Refuge”, who will be the NPAF poet/artist-in-residence at Gettysburg National Military Park this fall.
