How rejected should we be?

Many christians in ministry are scared to death of rejection.  Many times there livlihood depends on it.  Others speak there mind.  But so much so that they have no one to reach and minister too.  Is this about our own convictions?  Is this about fitting into the clique?  Is it about popularit and business?  Is it a war with the devil himself?
