Pat Nichols, President of Transition Leadership International, has served for 20 years as Interim CEO for nonprofits facing turnarounds and other strategic transitions.  He led such a transition for a subsidiary of Children’s National Health System addressing health issues in 18 countries.  Pat has also led organizations engaged in youth issues, equal rights, alternative energy, etc.  He managed the start up of Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute a $450 million a year research funder created by Congress.   He also advises nonprofits facing similar transitions.

About our discussion he says, "In managing crises and chaos, what can all leaders learn from a 20 year Interim CEO who has specialized in chaos--turnarounds, startups, major restructuring, etc.? We’ll talk about how to lead through these challenging episodes with a commitment to mission, clarity, integrity and accountability. Get specific suggestions about how to learn and adapt quickly, build or strengthen teams, build momentum and dig success into a changing culture?"
