Nereida Quiles-Wasserman, is Director of Admission for Adult Education Division (an accelerated degree completion program) at Concordia College-NY, in Bronxville, NY.   She has ten years of working knowledge in higher education, recruitment, admission operations and procedures and is an adjunct professor in the Business and English programs for traditional and nontraditional students.

For two decades prior to a career in academia, she worked within the corporate sector as a director, manager and million-dollar account manager of products and services including executive search, advertising print and online media.

About our discussion she says, “I had a career transition to a new industry after completing a college education as a non-traditional student, NTS, while maintaining full-time employment and juggling multiple responsibilities; and then utilizing my personal experience as a NTS to develop a career in higher education.   My intention is to inspire, encourage and motivate adults to pursue completion of their college education for personal and professional reasons.”
