Jean Baur is a dynamic speaker who knows how to inspire audiences to maximize their potential. She draws on her diverse background as an author and career coach to reveal the symptoms and causes of burnout, empowers her audiences to be the "boss" of their own lives and careers, and helps them realize there are always choices. She's spoken to diverse industries across the country including healthcare, insurance, and nonprofits.  Jean is the author of three books: the first two offer practical job search advice, and her latest book, Joy Unleashed:  The Story of Bella, the Unlikely Therapy Dog, shows how Bella guided Jean to a new career grounded in service.

About our interview, Jean says, "There are many dog lovers out there and most of us know lots of reasons why dogs are such good companions. But I learned something else when I adopted a wild twenty pound rescue from the local shelter. This dog, Bella, part Whippet, Lab and Terrier was a dog that needed a job. And it turned out that I, a career coach with twenty years of experience, was about to need a job as well.  Learn about this unlikely collaboration and how together, Bella and I became a successful team that breaks through loneliness and fear."
