About our interview he says, "Municipalities of all sizes increasingly employ tools such as mobile devices and remote access to improve their organizational efficiency and cost effectiveness of services. However, this also increases their security risks. Hence, cybersecurity ranks at or near the top of local government technology priorities. Although municipalities want cutting-edge data security, it must reside within the budgetary constraints they face. They stretch resources to derive measures that are both prudent and necessary to prevent the loss of sensitive data. This includes leveraging cost-effective tools and technology to protect against cyberattack, training staff on information security, and conducting regular security reviews and audits by an independent party."
