My guest will be Walter Meyer.  Walter started his writing career early, winning a short story contest when he was in 4 grade. At Penn State he worked for The Daily Collegian and after graduating he started freelancing for some local media.

He has co-written two published nonfiction books, Going for the Green: Selling in the 21 Century, a how-to book in the form of a novel which teaches corporate sales people the proper way to sell and Day is Ending: a doctor’s love shattered by Alzheimer’s disease, a true story of devotion in the face of hardship which was optioned to possibly be a television movie.  Another script he wrote is under option, Trailblazing, the true story of the first openly gay high school coach in the US.

A play which he co-wrote, GAM3RS, has been produced in New York to rave reviews and also received a great reception in performances at MIT and elsewhere and has now been optioned to be a web series.

His novel Rounding Third was published just before the teen bullying crisis started making the news.  He is currently at work on Triple Play, which is the sequel to Rounding Third, and on a nonfiction book, The Good from the Grief: kindness and generosity in the aftermath of September 11.
