With 95% of its performing artists unsigned and from all parts of the world, Atlantis is not just a Southeastern conference; it is an International Conference, held in the Southeastern United States. One of the main goals of the Atlantis Music Conference & Festival is to enhance the technologies available to us today. Communication and information, while abundant and available, does not take the place of putting your face with your name in today's music industry. Networking is still an important aspect. The Artist wants to be discovered and the industry wants to discover the artist and Atlantis provides the tools that make that happen. The conference will be held at the CW Midtown Music Complex in Midtown Atlanta (which you can check out at theloftatl.com) along with soon to be announced satellite locations featuring more genre specific showcases.

3.    The Music Industry Face Off is precisely that, a Face-Off.  It’s for the artists that want to know exactly what top level industry executives think about their music, style, sound and performance, live and on-the-spot! The artists will receive feedback consisting of possible praise, constructive criticism as well as helpful tips they can use immediately after performing!

Make no mistake, this is no American Idol! There is no voting, no cameras, and no crowd; just you facing off with the Executives, performing live on one of Atlanta’s biggest and best stages, The Center Stage, complete with all of its production
and lighting!

1.    Gigcalculator.com kinda self explanatory but I will explain it anyway. Gigcalculator.com allows you to input information about your gigs and it will let you see if it will be profitable before you eve load the first drumstick.  You can also check out the album release calculator from the same page.



2.    Burnlounge? Ever heard of it? I have but hearing about it is as far as my knowledge went until recently. When I found this article by David Hooper over at http://www.indiemusician.com/music_business/.  Also Tony Zeoli goes a little more indepth about burnlounge and the tiers that make it up. 3.    Song of the WEEK!!!! Selling Mary’s Running Riot.
As far as juicy tidbits and whatnot, we're now a five piece due to the departure of Jeremy. We have a manger, Chris Rockett, who is booking the shit out of us.
