Believe it or not… there is a major misconception about how what it means to be a “Black Woman”. At the root of the problem is a mere lack of understanding of the social being referred to as “Black Woman”. The family, community and society as a whole is shaped for the better or worse depending on the status of a female who grows through life and finds herself a single/married mother or a wife. The fact that she is described as “Black” signifies the need to give special care and treatment when dealing with her.
