Have you ever thought of writing your own tarot book or creating your own deck? Tonight, get an insider's look of what happens behind the scenes at a publisher's office and what catches a publisher's eye.

Tarot has been a part of Barbara Moore¹s personal and professional lives for nearly twenty years. Right from the start, tarot intrigued her with its marvelous blending of mythology, psychology, art, history, mystery, and magic. She has studied under renowned tarot scholars such as Mary K. Greer and Rachel Pollack, and continues to work with some of the brightest lights in the tarot world. Currently, she consults for both Llewellyn Worldwide and Lo Scarabeo and is one of the founders of the Minnesota Area Tarot Symposium (http://minnesotatarot.com/).

Barbara enjoys the challenge of giving a voice to tarot cards and oracle decks. She has had the good fortune to write books and booklets for several decks, including A Guide to Mystic Faerie Tarot, The Gilded Tarot Companion, The Hip Witch Tarot, The Enchanted Oracle, The Mystic Dreamer Tarot, The Pagan Magical Kit, The Vampires of the Eternal Night Tarot, The Tarot of the Sweet Twilight, The Dream Enchantress Tarot, and Shadowscapes Tarot (forthcoming spring 2010). She has written a new edition of Llewellyn¹s Tarot for Beginners (forthcoming fall 2010). In July, she will attend the Tarot Association of the British Isles Conference as their keynote speaker.

Meanwhile, she is working on designing several new tarot decks.
