With professional sports injuries on the rise, it makes you stop and think if doctors and coaches are allowing return to play too soon after an injury.

Failing to recognize the seriousness of an injury, athletes may cause more harm to themselves if they do not seek proper diagnosis and apply correct treatment. This is crucial prior to return to play.

Some coaches are so focused on winning and advancing their own careers, that they push the athletes to a point at which they become vulnerable to game related injuries. Children are especially vulnerable in city sports programs, recreational leagues and individual competitive sports, such as skateboarding.

Athletic injuries and determining the right time to let the athlete return to play is our hot topic in this cool month of January. Join us for our LIVE chat and interview with John M.
