LaQuisha Hall Mrs. Maryland 2012 and Mrs. Marylan Galaxy 2009 joins Shelbey Patterson to discuss and share experience from abuse to being a victorious survivour.
LaQuisha Hall is a woman with a purpose that goes far beyond what is expected of her. She is an award winning community service leader who has served as Mrs. Maryland Galaxy 2009 and currently Mrs. Maryland Beautiful 2012. As a witness of domestic violence, a sexual abuse survivor and an international advocate, LaQuisha actively promotes her platform, Queendom: Healing Women to Heal Nations, which presents a two-pronged approach: educating the public about the realities of sexual abuse and domestic violence and supporting survivors through the recovery process.
LaQuisha enjoys being a mentor, locally and abroad, encouraging and teaching teen girls about safety, feminine etiquette and positive self-esteem. She is currently an English teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools and a doctoral candidate. LaQuisha is due to release two teen books this summer.
It's good to talk.
