Listening When He Speaks

It is the new year. The air is abuzz with excitement, hope and anticipation for what the year will bring. In the same turn, God is moving and with his actions there is great opportunity to impact things that happen in time such as achieving goals, creating vision and impacting the world around us. But there is also the opportunity to impact the eternal. This life is temporary. None of us get to stay here forever. God wants to give us direction. That direction will provide clarity in making decisions about what you should be FOCUSED on. We turn our heads in the direction of the voice we hear. Only when our attention is pointed in that direction are we inclined to hear ACCURATELY. How does God SPEAK? How do you know it is him speaking? How do you differentiate his VOICE from the static noise of business? How do you LISTEN WHEN HE SPEAKS?
