Better Motorcycling

Ruben Torres is an active duty 20 year police veteran, crash reconstruction specialist and Motor Officer. He formerly served as the Department's Traffic Services Coordinator which included duties such as: highway safety, crash analysis, selective enforcement and public education initiatives. Officer Torres discovered recurring causative factors in most motorcycle collisions which are avoidable. After Basic Police Motorcycle Training, Officer Torres experienced a void between parking lot training and practical street strategies. He advocates the Roadcraft System of Motorcycle Control and shares his experience and tips.
