Tuning In With Betsy  

This is a special blog about Special People.  Last Christmas Eve, i was like that movie kid, i was home alone.

My phone rang and the female at the other end of the line requested a reading, like now.

OK, this is, like Monty Python would say, something completely different.

No last minute shopping (aka rushing around Toronto like the proverbial chicken with its head cut off, it ya find that in the Book of Provers please email me, Chapter/Verse and if you hear a gigantic kaboom it is Betsy getting smitted by the Hand of God Himself, thank Himself He has a sense of humor).

We did the read and as  we chatted I saw Emily's 2 career ops, i saw designing and a tv show.

It was great energy over the wires.Wonderful connection both mentally and spiritually.

A great combo, like chicken and ribs, Abbott and Constello, Black and White Polo Events, Google and Yahoo!  Frik and Frack!  but i digress.

There is something going on this year, 2009, with tv pilots, meetings with production companies, casting, auditions, reels, meetings, more pitching with my friends and myself, than in the Yankee's Bull Pen.

Today i received great news over at Face Book.  Emily is now in Austin, at the Austin Film Fest, pitching her pilot.  Yea! Emily and Emma Roberts, a terrific television writer and another great friend, is at her side.

I am so happy and proud of these 2 women.

Girls go set Texas on it's   . . . ear.  Grab the Longhorn by his tail and swing him once for me.  Take that proverbial bull by the horns (there we go with the Bible again but hey!  it's so well written, has everything, sex, murder, money, greed, sex, sibling rivalary, sex, hey God!  didja ever think of pitching Your Own Reality Show? I predict great success for You).

It's a Red Letter Day and the Letter is E x 2 = Much Career Succe$$.

Yes, the Merlot is here awaiting your arrival back home in Toronto.

Wait!  Maybe i better switch gear and get the champagne on ice.

The way the Leafs are playing we need some good news about ice!
