Ok, how many of you watched the NBC movie last night, The Storm? I watched and wondered. Does anyone remember Jeane Dixon, predicting, back in the 1990's, shortly before her death, that one day the US Government would learn how to control the weather. When I read that prediction, my thought was, oh, that will be nice, able to stop or alleviate suffering. Ha! Think again, Betsy Balega. What if you could control the weather, as a weapon of mass destruction? WOMD. After this movie it was time to turn on Vision TV and listen to Jack van Impe talk about the End Times. Whether (weather?) you know it are not, You are there, or You Are Here as the little tourtist maps point out. This is what I call the summer that isn't. Last year I cut my cable for 6 months to enjoy the summer weather and go outside, instead of watching every old movie on the Drive In Channel. Of course, as soon as I notified my carrier, the weather went into overdrive with rain, rain, rain, and more rain. This is 2 years in a row. Speaking with friends in the US, things are not much different there. Chicao, it's like fall, Palm Beach, imitating Toronto. Toronto, imitating September in July. I intended to absorb all the Vitamin D i could possibly intake from my balcony this summer. Thankfully, Mr. Hirsche, Store #808 SDM, Mt. Pleasant Road, had Vitamin D on sale last week for $2.49 for 90 tablets. I'm good till August 10. I'm doubling up my 3 a day to 6 - 9 a day. Forget Michael Jackson's Diprivan, my od is Vitamin D.
