Happy Spring

Today is the last day of winter and also my birthday.

That means, that no crab, lobster, mussel, oyster,
shrimp, scallop or salmon is safe tonight, because
my dear friend Dorina is taking me to Mandarin.

Forget any pork, who wants to detox and have to get rid of parasites.

Well, except for that pork on Wall Street and in DC, but we won't go there tonight.

I'll let Obama take the responsibility and clean this Economic Mess up.

Let him deal with it and figure it out.  He volunteered yesterday.

I will be too busy cozying up to the shrimp salad, shrimp souffle, shrimp cocktail,
oyster bar, scallopsC coquil St. Jacques, Crab Legs, Lobsters and any other
crustacean that crosses my path tonight.

Sponge Bob and Friends, you have been warned.

On a more somber and serious note, prayers to Liam Neeson and family.

The autopsy revealed that his wife, Natasha Richardson, passed away due to an
epidural hematoma.

That is a brain bleed.

This is a l esson for all of us.

Not just to wear helmets when we are skating, snowboarding, riding, skiing, but
to tell someone you love them today/tonight, because it may be the last time you
get to say it.

Don't be shy.

And Happy Spring.  It arrives tomorrow at 7:44.  Now wait a minute.

I just went to the Weather Network to see if that i 7:44 AM or PM.

And according to "Them" Spring arrives March 20 at 11:45 UTC

What does that mean?

Is it AM or PM.

UTC?  Did we annex a new province since I last visited the Weather
Network?

I can't find out on the website what UTC stands for, and i am too tired to go Google.

But, I did learn that the Weather Network is celebrating 20 years of weather forecasting on tv.

Hmmmm, how did that happen.  I don't remember them 20 years ago.

Of course, 20 years ago, I didn't have Satellite TV either.  I think I had basic plug in.

CBS, C ity TV and maybe CFTO.  I was too busy outside, enjoying the nice weather to watch movies all the time.

Well, as of tomorrow, sounds like a plan.  Gee, 20 years ago.  No Satellite Dish, no Internet, no cell phones, no iPod, no iPhone.

Was I happy?

Yes.

Was I content?

Yes.

Time to go back to the future.
