    A wonderful, prosperous and blessed 2009 to everyone who listens to Tuning in with Betsy here at Blog Talk Radio.

    Hard to believe that TIWB began 2 years ago.  My how time flies.  Over the cuckoo nest no less.

    Looking back and reminiscing, and going through old emails, I am honored and blessed to have met so many nice guests and employees here at BTR.

    Why it seems like only yesterday, when I dialed in, to record my test show, and whatever "snag" occurred, I didn't have any microphone to click to chat with the Program Coordinator, so i just blabbed for 15 minutes. 

    Just like the Energizer Bunny I kept going and going and going.

    I think I paced around my living room, too nervous too look back at the switchboard - why, I might break my train of thought.

    I remember the nervousness I experienced 10 mins. before show time back then.  Where are my 25 questions in the Show Notes section of my Radio Host Page?  Will my guest call in on time, a few minutes early so we can chit chat and I am certain of having a guest?

    Now, it's not even a concern.

    The Show Notes section is long gone from the Host's Page and guests are eager to call in.

    I want to thank all of my past guests and also upcoming ones, who will be on Tuning in with Betsy this year.

    I also want to thank you, my listeners, who are simply The Best, as Tina sang.

    Without you and the Blog Talk Crew, there would be no Tuning in with Betsy.

    I am very excited to announce Justin Catanoso as my guest coming up in January.

    His cousin,  Padre Gaetano Catanoso is a Saint.

    Yes, a 100% bona fide Canonized Saint of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

    I can't wait to interview Justin and share the miracles with you.

    Bonnie is an RN, who sold her house in Allentown, Pa., 9 years ago, and moved to Nairobi, Kenya, to open an Orphanage for young street boys.

    Bonnie has spent the last 9 years in Kenya, at her self sustained Orphanage and School, but found it necesary to leave Africa, and return to Pennsylvania due to the conditions in Ni

    She left Kenya earlier today and I am sure she is crying her eyes out as I type this.

    Bonni G.  you have a lot to be proud of.

    Blog Talk Reindeer

    I am so upset, trying to log into my blog, here at Blog Talk Radio, I typed in

    I just read in the Toronto Star, that if you pay a private reserve, $375, in the NW Territories,  you can be guaranteed a reindeer to take out - and I don't mean to the Ballgame, or the Drive Thru Window at McDonalds or any other fast food joint. 

    Inuvik, you break my heart, and the hearts of children around the world tonight.

    I know caribou are dwindling, but how can you promote this at THIS time of year?

    Have you no heart?

    Apparently not.

    I won't even mention soul.

    Of all the days, in all of the year, why this, why now.  Call the Rabbi, who wrote, When Bad Things Happen To Good People.  I need consolation.

    Someone replied to the Editor, to send these hunters to Afghanistan, where someone will shoot back at them. 

    Reminds me of a Christmas in my hometown, of Shamokin, Pa. when I was a teenager.  Someone snuck downtown, to Santa's Reindeer Pen and let the deer loose.  Reindeer were not in the Shamokin City Budget, so we had to settle for the generic Pennsylvania  Buck and Doe and Baby Bambi. 

    The last of the Reindeer knock-off exhibition in Shamokin.


    On a happier note, Chelsea Bantan, woke up from a coma, in a hospital room in Mint Hill, North Carolina,.

    Drs. and staff expected her to die, when her life support was removed.

    She had a visitor and here he is.

    And no, it is NOT sunlight through the window.  Sure looks like an Angel to me.

    I love the wings.  And I love the recovery.  And I love the time of year.  To me, it represents a definite message, not just to the Banton Family, but to Mankind.

    Chelsea was not expected to live to her 15th Birthday.

    Her 15th Birthday is Christmas  Day, Thursday, December 25, 2008.

    Well done, Angel of Healing.

    And I am sure there is more than one.

    If you need a Christmas Miracle, ask your angel tonight.

    Buttons for Senator (from New York)

    No, I do not mean Bradd Pitt in the movie, adapted from a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

    I am speaking of Ms. Caroline Kennedy, of Manhattan.

    What is all the fuss about.

    Hillary Clinton had to MOVE to NY to qualify to be the Senator from New York.

    Remember Little Rock?  That's not even close to Queens.  Or a bridge.

    Caroline is a Native New Yorker.  Give or take a few years living in Georgetown and The White House.

    People are screamin and squakin that this is not 1960 it is  2008.

    We already know that.

    People are screamin and squakin that Caroline isn't qualified.

    Excuse me, did we just not go through this in the Presidential Election?

    And look who got elected?

    Lightning can strike twice. 

    We, the Peopl.

    I implore the Governor of New York, whatsyername, to name Caroline Kennedy to the Senate.

    If not, may a few  Political Ghosts of Christmases Past visit you at yer mansion.

    I thought I was hallucinating the othe night when i saw an actress, otherwise known as The Nanny,  wants the Senate seat in NY.  Has Gothm gone Bananas?  Sorry, Woody.

    And didja see the old tape on NBC Nightly News, wait till i google  my Source  Martin Nagrontski (sic) - JFK was interveiwed 3 days before Buttons birth.  You can watch the video on MSNBC.

    For all of you who don't know why I am using the term "Buttons," that was Caroline's nickname given to her by her father.

    Ahhh, Camelot.
