Yes, Indeedie, what a coincidence!

Oops, sorry F. Scott Fitzgerald, I'm not supposed to use an exclamation point, too self-indulgent and sniffs of vanity.

Everyone who listens to Tuning in with Betsy, with yours truly, Betsy Balega, knows that I do not believe in coincidences.

They're winks from God.

Telling you, you are on the Right Road, The Right Path, Going in the Right Direction.

Right on, God.

Lately, He has been talking to me a lot, and no, I don't mean, as in Auditory Hallucinations.

May Pang, John Lennon's girlfriend, was my guest, on November 15th.  May and I spoke of coincidences.  She has had many that pertain to John, since his death.

We touched on this incident in our interview.  For those of you, not familiar with The Incident, I am referring to John Lennon, stating in an interview, that The Beatles were more popular than Jesus.  Christianity would fade, he declared, but he wasn't sure which would fade first, Christianity or The Beatles.

A lot of water under the bridge, a lot of wax played, death threats from the KKK, Beatle Concert Tours were canceled, Watergate (don't get me started), so much, so much, History in between John and The Beatles being "absolved."

This past week, the Vatican Newspaper, officially known as L'osservatore Romano, issued an Official Forgiveness Writ, Absolution from the Vatican.

All is forgiven 42 years later.  Yes, 20/20 Hindsight makes it all so clear now.

Or clearer.

John Lennon was a misunderstood chap, as was Jesus.

Lennon sang about Revolution, Jesus brought one.

They both upset the Apple Cart in their day.

John worked Musical Magic.

Jesus worked Miracles.  Well, it wasn't really "work" for him, He was in The Family Business.

His Dad has come through with a few for me.

John came from humble beginnings in Liverpool.

To quote my Parish Priest, Fr. Frank Lahout, the word in Israel was, "No Good every came out of Nazareth."  (Not to be confused with The Word, as in "made Flesh).

John met an untimely death.

Likewise Jesus.

Only the Good die young.

John is remembered on his birthday and date of death.

Can you say, Christmas and Food Friday/Easter?

Lennon left a legacy of music.  Music that uplifts, cheers up, and refreshes.

Jesus likewise.

Not the music part, but His Essence.  His Message.  Love, Hope and Forgiveness.

Hey!  I think The Vatican got it!

Oops, sorry Scotty.
