Ok, am I in a Re-Run of Back to the Future?  Or what?

Last night, besides Canada Day being the lead story on CTV, which was to be expected, the entire city of Toronto is in shock and disbelief, to hear that Cujo, Curtis Joseph, is returning to be back up goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

What is going on in this city?

Was it all the rain we received in June?  Truly a strange phenomenon, much like all that snow we received in January, February and March. 

What are the suits, at Maple Leaf Entertainment eating for breakfast?

Because I sure as hell feel I am back in the 50's.  This is deja vu all over again.

First with Cito Gastin coming to skipper the Jays, and now this.

I can't believe it, but i know it's true, cuz i saw it on tv.

We will all miss Darcy Turcker.  And Mats Sundin, is keeping Vancouver hangin, while he thinks it over.

Next I expect to hear, "Clear the track, hear comes Shack!"  or,  perhaps Lonnie will come out of retirement.

I better not tempt Fate and ask what else could happen, because sure enough, I'll turn on Channel 9 and see Don Cherry on the Leafs Bench.

Hey, now that's not a bad idea.  Maybe he'll bring Dougie with 'im.
