I had one of those this week, except it all happened in one bloody day.  No pun intended.

Being a psychic, and being on Facebook, I get added to people's friends list without my knowledge or A-ok.

Often, people, mostly women, will add me because i am a well known psychic.  They couldn't give a rat's rear-end if I am a loyal, honest, and true bleu/blue friend/ami, as long as  they think they will get a  FREE psychic reading, I am everyone's new best friend.  Think again brainiac.

There is one particular female, on Facebook, from Toronto, who has repeatedly tried to get me to call her.  Every week it's a different angle.

I can smell a snow job, 3,000 miles from Whistler.

I have heard every sob story this side of the movie, Chicago. (Remember those sob sisters?  Repeat after me, with an Hungarian Accent - Not Guilty!).

People who try this must think i am the stoopidest psychic on the planet.

The killer was Thursday, July 24, when I received an email, on Facebook,  stating this persons daughter is suicidal and the mother cannot find her.  Call me now, this is URGENT, she wrote.

Spirit said, no.  Don't bother.  Pretty hearless of me, huh?  I think not.
 
That was the morning of Thursday, July 24th,.

Checking into Facebook, haha,  imagine, this distraugh woman's activity on Facebook listed her, joining Speed Dating at 2:57 PM on Thursday July 24th.

What about your daughter, you know, the one who is suicidal and you can't find her?

Excuse me, but if I had ever gone missing,  Eddie and Bette Balega,  aka as Mom and Dad,  woulda called out the Air National Guard,  SAC, the Amphib Marine Unit,  Stealth Fighter Pilots, The 101st Airborne, the FBI, Secret Service and every State Trooper in Pennsylvania.  Remember Rocco Urella?  The best.

Gee, I guess getting laid is some people's priority and their kid comes last.

And in other Canadian News, Ogopogo is alive and well and kickin up waves out in BC.

He was spotted on Monday, and when the film is developed I expect he will be the New Sensation on YouTube.  For thos of you not in the know, Ogopogo is the Canadaian
Cousin of the Lochness Monsfer.   Years ago, on Unsolved Mysteries reported a sigting out in the Okanagan Valley as a "45 foot beaver."  At which time, I told Eddie Balega, " DAD,  if i ever see a 45 foot beaver headed my way in a Canadian Lake,  i'll let ya know, but I believe in Ogopogo."  So do millions of  Canucks.

Then there was the phone call I received, again on Thursday, July 24,  about a man, shot through the head, with a hollow bullet.  He's alive and kickin  too,  but that's another day, another blog.

Donna Summer is in Town, and headed to CasinoRama tonight (in Orillia, Ontario), for 2 nights of Disco Hits from the 70's.

As time goes by, don't we realize how precious our friends are, especially our OF's.  Old Friends.

There are none like mine.  I am blessed with the best.  Also blessed with psychic ability and mediumship ability.  Sometimes it's hard to have friends when they are afraid you are reading their minds and know their deepest thoughts.

Lucky for me, i have OF's who are the best mediums in the world.  That's my opinion and they are the most humble of friends.

Our friendships go back 20 years.  Strangely, but once more, Betsy Balega does not believe in coincidences, some predictions given to me in July/August,  of 1988 and 1989, are coming true this week.  Whoudathunkedit.

People ask why i don't have mediums and psychics on Tuning in with Betsy, more often.  Because only the Best Mediums and Psychics will do.

Just left a message for Medium, Debra Boardman, who resides at Lily Dale, NY.

For those of you, who are not from the Western NY area, or familiar with Spiritualism, Lily Dale is a small community nestled in the NW section of NY, close to Chatauqua Institute.  Chatauqua is a quaint and historical hamlet,  in and of itself, but there is nothing like Lily Dale, this side of Cassadaga, Fla. (the sister site of Cassadaga, NY).  Lily Dale's residents are all mediums, resgistered with The Lily Dale Assembly.  No phonies here.

Lily Dale was founded in 1879 and had some very well known visitors, such as Thomas Edison, Susan B. Anthony and the Roosevelts.

I was Debra's guest one summer, and spent the best week ever at Lily Dale.  My biggest faux pas, was making my famous cheesecake but measured the milk out by litres instead of quarts.  Has anyone ever had cheesecake soup?  We did.

And those cinammon buns at Freedonia.  Nothin like 'em. 

The movie theatre in Dunkirk, "Ghost," was the summer hit back then.  Of course, the ending, when the bad guy gets what was coming to him,  a fellow medium shouted out, "He needs a healing."  Spiritualists love to laugh.

Spiritualists love to have fun, and back then, Fraley's was the local hang out, just about 1,000 feet outside the Gates of Lily Dale.  I think we had wings, 2 beverages and fries for what, $20 US.  Ahhhh, the good old days. 

Debra and I used to exchange messages back in the day.  And as I mentioned one of her predictions came true this past week.  Spirit never lies.

Hopefully, Debra's schedule, and calendar, have some room for her to be a guest on Tuning in with Betsy.  Remember her name because you won't want to miss this show.

Hmmm, what to blog about on a Friday afternoon?  How about a Happy Birthday Shout Out to my Nana who would have celebrated her birthday today.  Nana is in Heaven now but still likes to check in every once in awhile to make sure her granddaughter is doin the write thing.

That part of my family tree, sprung up in Austria.  Had it not been for WWI, I might have ended up living in a palace, as her family was part of the Royal Family.

Of course, that woulda meant an arranged marriage with another European Royal Family Member.  Thank God for Immigrants who decided to hop on a slow boat to Ellis Island.

Today marks another anniversary, it's the day I arrived in Miami back in my 20's.  I remember it was so hot, i thought i had died and gone to the Wrong Place Downstairs.  I remember walking on 17th Terrace at my typical Northern Dancer Pace and realized what the words heat stroke in July meant.  I changed my pace.

The BatMobile is in Toronto this weekend, next stop is the Much Music site, on Queen Wesf.  So for all you BatFanatics, you can catch a glimpse of it down in Funky Town.

Exciting news, Hazel Dixon-Cooper is getting her own radio show and a new website. So stay tuned here for an update on Hazel, her Astrology Show and "Star" Guests.  Could it be that yours truly shared some top secret Man Info, like George Clooney's contact number.

I only share that kinda stuff with the friends i REALLY like, and you know who you are.
