    Date / Time:

Sex in the City, Pigs in the City and No More X-pressway?

Ok, ya can't even be hungry in Toronto anymore, because the pigs, donated by  the compassionate farmers of Ontario, did NOT go to the poor, and hungry souls of Toronto.

Instead, el pig-o-s became pet food!

What the hell is this about?

Animals are not supposed to be part of the food chain for other animals.  That is Farmer in the Dell's #1 Rule of Farming in Canada.  Or should I say, Cana doh!

    How did this happen?

Don't tell me, someone in the Government had a sty in their eye.

    That's Rant #1

Now we have Mayor Miller deciding to tear town the Gardiner Expressway  heading East, into the city.

Why should i get upset over this, afterall I don't drive in Toronto.

Well, everyone, who visits me, from Niagara, or the West End of Toronto, comes along the Gardiner, gets off at Jarvis St. and travels to the Mt. Pleasant Exit and is at my house in no time flat.

Now, what do you think Hizzoner wants to extract from the Gardinera? (God, I better calm down, I am now typing in  Latin and I'm not even a pharmacist.)

The Jarvis St. Exit.  Your Mayorship, choose another exit to tear down and let Old Jarvis stand.

It couldn't be that easy could it.

I feel a Dust Storm the size of Texas descending on this City.

As if i don't clean my windows enough (I don't but that's another story).

I advise everyone to buy stock in Heinz  Vinegar.  All 3 million of us in TO will be needing it.

It's only going to take a measly 10 years to rip the Gardiner down and replace it.

Except no one, including Miller, knows what the hell is going to replace it.

This sounds like the Big Dig in Boston, or SkyDome, that had a price tag of $100 million for us citizens, but we saw that stadium escalate to $500 million.

St. Jude hear me now. (For all youse guys who don't know  who St. Jude is, he is the saint of the Hopeless Cases for Catholics).

Lastly, on a cheerier note, the Sex in the City Girls, or, i guess by now, after 40, i better call Carrie and The Gang, Women.   They knocked Mr. Macho, Indiana Jones, out of the Hot Spot  #1 at the Box Office.

Girl Power is back in style.

Send some of us to City Hall.

Don't worry, that's in the works.

    A pig in every pot.
