Betsy Balega

There is a God.

How do I know this?  Why am i such a staunch believer in the Supreme Being?

Because once more, He has delivered me.

This time from the Death Grasp of Embridge Gas.  The company announced this morning, that there will be, as of July 1, 2008, a 20% automatic increase, added to customers bills.

In 2005,  Betsy Balega almost went into cardiac arrest to see a $900 gas bill.

Yes, you read that right.

I am no longer living at the house where this Gas Terrorism took place.

Forget Osama bid Laden, the Death Ray and Diabetes Type II.

Embridge Gas was the bane of my existence.  Held hostage by a home, built around 1890 and not insulated properly since (yes there was a horse barn in the yard, and still is).

When said property was sold for almost a cool million, in 2006,  I migrated up the street (My Beloved Mt. Pleasant) to reside next to the Catholic Cemetary, Mt. Hope, but not in it.

Not yet anyway.

Had I remained down on Thurloe Avenue i am sure I would've been planted in Mt. Hope, either found frozen to death in the ill-insulated house, or dead from the price of  home heating gas.

Jesus Christ delivered me.

Straight to a property where there is nothing known, recognized, acknowledged or needed,  as Embridge Gas.

Thank You Jesus.  Praise Your Name, now and forever.

Amen, Selah.

God doesn't charge a Delivery Service.

His Son delivers right on time, no charge.

And for all you  Torontonians still at the mercy of Embridge Gas, you are in my prayers.

If this 20% increase  isn't enough to go with solar panels,  nothing is.
