Christine Kennedy is a leadership and life coach and the Executive Vice President of the Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce. In this role she helps individuals and businesses succeed through self- discovery, thought-provoking questions and providing piercing clarity on issues that often times the individual can’t see.
She also is responsible for many workforce and economic development issues at the Chamber including the nationally award winning Leadership Lynchburg program which trains and equips high potential leaders from organizations throughout the region. She serves on the Governor’s Workforce Council in VA and sits on the Region 2000 Workforce Investment Board. She is also a certified workforce provider for the state of Virginia and conducts resume and interview workshops for job seekers at the Region 2000 Career Center.
She has spearheaded the creation of several initiatives for the Chamber including the popular women’s luncheon series, the Women of Worth Awards Program and Business at Breakfast program to name a few. In her spare time, she conducts on-site training and keynote presentations at state and national conferences in the areas of strategic planning, leadership, change management, communication and attitude.
She is a founding member and the past chair of the Virginia Leadership Association, which looks to provide best practices and assistance for Leadership programs around the Commonwealth.
