The murder of Tanya’s sister, Nicole Brown-Simpson, elevated her concern on the issues of domestic violence and toxic relationships. It is her life mission to raise awareness on where it starts and where it can end.

Tanya is a nationally-known speaker and inspirational motivator dedicated to educate our national communities on the epidemic of domestic violence. Her compassion and dedication accompanied with her professionalism and confidence inspire women and men alike to take action in the campaign of violence against women.

Tanya reveals some of her sister's intimate thoughts and the turmoil she went through living in her violent relationship. These journals chronicle the first signs of domestic abuse.

Ten years after the loss of Nicole, Tanya suffered a mental breakdown and as a result she has made a personal commitment to speak on the issues of mental health and healing after loss. She encourages those who suffer and those aside them, to find peace amid chaos and learn the tools for integrating self-care for a life of optimal mental health.

Tanya is a certified life coach and has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. She has written a book: Stepping Stones to Success which is available via mail order. In Spring of 2014, upon the 20 year anniversary of her sister’s murder, Find Peace Amidst Chaos: My Escape from Depression and Suicide will be released.

She has been seen on Larry King Live, Good Morning America, The Early Show, The Insider and other national media outlets to speak on the epidemic of domestic violence in our communities.
