Hoohah! I love that...have you ever seen Scent of a Women with Al Pacino? He says that alot...hoohah! It's funny, every time I think of that word, I hear Al Pacino in my head. Talk about branding....Hoohah!...My world has been busy....We were blessed with Bill Andreoli's presence at the FDI meeting on Tuesday. He was great. He really talked to the troups and told them that they have his support. That all of corporate is standing behind the home town team. It doesn't get better than that. Hoohah! I mean what owner of a networking company is going to meet with the team to tell them that? I don't think most people have met the owners of companies that they are involved in. It's why I love being apart of it all. Yesterday, I got to interview Tony Youngs. He was terrific! He's a good ole southern boy. And, he loves to tell stories. The moral of his "first property" was doubt will keep you out of action, whereas action keeps you out of doubt. He was quite sure what he was doing....but, he kept moving forward and he made $27 grand off of his first deal in 1986. His salary for the year as an air craft mechanic was the same amount. He said he kept working until his 5th deal. And, then he forgot to go to work because he was so consumed with 2 rehabs he was doing. He said they called him to find out if he was still alive and he said he forgot to go to work...and he resigned. Listen to the interview. He's a wealth of knowledge and has been doing this real estate thing for close to a 1/4 of a century...oh yes, and if you are in and around the Boston Area...come see him speak live at my meeting! He's also doing an all day Saturday event - it doesn't cost more than $59, less if you are a member of association. The kids are doing great...16 year old manages to drive me nuts....the little man is too cute. And, he always has his eye on the prize...legos, silly bands...whatever.
