Attorney Sarah Steele and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.

The audience should know that although Ms. Steele is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.

This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.

Today we also have special guest attorney Sharon Briley

Tonight we discuss the difficult issue of adults leaving children in cars, an event that sometimes leads to great tragedy.  Some people are on the side of “no excuses,” saying that parental/adult responsibility should be enough to ensure the safety of the children that are in their care.  Other people feel benevolence for the parents/adults left behind, stating that anyone can be forgetful or a victim of “autopilot,” and become victims of their own guilt once it is discovered that the child is irreparably harmed or passes away. Who is right?  Is there a middle ground?  Join Bennet and Sarah as they discuss this sensitive and controversial topic.
